1  Girl Scout Gold Award
The Gold Award is the highest award a girl can achieve in her Girl Scout career. Open only to girls in high school, this prestigious award challenges you to change the world!

2, 8, 16, 25, 27, 29 The Safety Award
The Safety Award is earned by following a three-five step process for staying safe, tailored to each Girl Scout level. More information on the steps can be found in your Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

3  Ambassador Torch Award
The Gold Torch award recognizes a Girl Scout Ambassador who acts as a leader in her community. The award is earned by completing one Ambassador National Leadership Journey and serving in a leadership position at a school, place of worship, library, or similar organization. For more information see the Ambassador Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

4  Counselor in Training II
Girl Scout Ambassadors earn this award by working with younger girls over the course of at least one camp session while focused on increasing their skills in one specific area — such as riding instruction, lifeguarding, or the arts.

5, 14, 21  Community Service Bar
The Community Service Bar is available to any Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador who volunteers at least 30 hours to a single community organization. Pre-approval for this award is required before a girl can begin service. For more information see your level’s Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

6, 15, 22  Service to Girl Scouts Bar
The service to Girl Scouts Bar is awarded to any Cadette, Senior and Ambassador who serves 20 or more hours to the Girl Scout Organization. Girls must receive approval from their troop leader, camp leader, council staff, or service unit manager they plan on helping before they begin their service. For more information see your level’s Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

7, 13, 18, 23, 26, 29  Journey Summit Awards
The Journey Summit Award Pin is earned by girls who have competed three National Leadership Journeys at their grade level. For more information see your level’s Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

9 Senior Torch Award
The Silver & Gold Torch award recognizes a Girl Scout Senior who acts as a leader in her community. The award is earned by completing one Senior National Leadership Journey and serving in a leadership position at a school, place of worship, library or similar organization. For more information see the Senior Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

10  Counselor in Training
Opportunities are available at each resident camp for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors wishing to perfect their leadership skills while having fun in the outdoors. These skills provide a valuable foundation for future academic and work-related choices, and are especially useful to young women interested in giving back to the organization and becoming camp counselors.

11  Ten Year Pin
Awarded to any girl who attains 10 years of participation in Girl Scouting.

12  Volunteer in Training
The Volunteer-in-Training (VIT) award is for Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors who would like to mentor a Girl Scout Daisy, Brownie, Junior or Cadette group outside of the camp experience. If a girl has completed 9th grade, she is eligible to earn this award. A Volunteer-in- Training project needs to span a three-to-six month period.

17  Program Aide
Cadettes receive their Program Aide award by earning one LIA award, complete the Program Aide Core Leadership Workshop and work with younger Girl Scouts over six activity sessions (a session can be a troop meeting, an event such as a camporee or a badge workshop).

19  Girl Scout Silver Award
The Girl Scout Silver Award is a prestigious award earned by Girl Scout Cadettes or grade levels 6 – 8. A girl can earn her Silver Award as an individual or she can work in a group of no more than 5 girls from her troop. Earning the Silver Award gives girls a chance to demonstrate that she is a leader who is organized, determined, and dedicated to improving the world around her.

20  Cadette Torch Award
The Silver Torch award recognizes a Girl Scout Cadette who acts as a leader in her community. The award is earned by completing a Cadette National Leadership Journey and serving in a leadership position at a school, place of worship, library, or similar organization. For more information see the Cadette Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.

24  Girl Scout Bronze Award
The Bronze Award is the highest award a Junior can earn. A girl must complete one Junior journey, build her team, and complete a Take Action Project.
