Located in near Lompoc, south of Santa Maria, La Purisima is a great place for a day trip with your troop. 4th grade troops can earn the mission patch. |
Lopez Lake
Located 35 minutes north of Santa Maria. Lopez has camping, hiking, kayaking and swimming on the lake. You can also visit Mustang Water Slides or try your hand at ropes course and zip line at Vista Lago |
Archery
Our Service Unit Day Camp offers archery every year. You can also look for archery opportunities on the GSCCC website. The city of Santa Maria also offers archery opportunities through Los Flores Ranch Park. |
Ravine Water Park
Located in Paso Robles, this is a great place for an end-of-year party or just some summer troop fun. The Ravine is sometimes used as a cookie incentive, so be aware if you are planning a trip. Your girls could earn it! |

Younger girls can discover all things STEM at the Discovery museum. There is a Maker Space connected to the museum that girls can use. |
